Hatchet Throwing in Bend?
Located at the old Boomtown building at 910 NW Harriman Street, Unofficial Logging Co. is the best spot for having a great time. Hatchet throwing, constantly rotating selections of craft beer, select choice wines, delicious food curated by Lisandro Ramon of the Brown Owl, and a beautiful and convenient location right downtown. With 18 taps we’re bound to have something you’ll like.
We have 6 lanes with 2 targets each available for league nights, drop-in hours, and private groups – corporate events, weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and birthday celebrants! We’re able to host anyone, from one person just wanting to drop in and throw for an hour, to groups as large as 90 that want to do a private event for an evening. And if you just want to stop by for a beer and watch, totally fine. Plenty of bar seating for people just wanting to hang out.
Come on down to our location at the corner of Greenwood and Harriman in downtown Bend. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never thrown a hatchet before or if you’re a seasoned pro looking to sign up for league nights (which we will have starting in March). Stop by and give it a shot, it’s a crazy amount of fun.
See you soon downtown!

The idea of opening an axe-throwing venue started as a joke with an insurance estimate for a different project. After that we seriously looked into it and came to the conclusion that we were the right kind of crazy fools to open our own axe-throwing spot with beer, wine, and food. Because why not? After searching for a location in Bend for almost a year, the Boomtown Records building became available. Lofted ceilings, 100+ years, old, brick and timber, concrete floor, WOW! It’s perfect!
We have a beautiful axe-throwing trailer we’d love to bring to your private event or other special occasion. We provide the trailer, a lane marshall to ensure everyone safely has a great time, and staff to sign people in.. Our mobile package starts at $1,500 for a 4-hour event, and is available in Central Oregon and Northern California.
Note: our trailer is just shy of 14’ tall and 24’ long so you’ll need to verify that we can make it to the property to set up.
